Bruce County is celebrating Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day today.
Director of Human Services, Christine MacDonald says its an opportunity to recognize the resilience and dedication of Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Workers, and honour the important role they play in establishing an early foundation for life-long learning.
Bruce County’s Children’s Services staff members will also be providing child care operators with a professional development session that will feature a celebration meal to share while engaging in “team building” exercises.
Warden Janice Jackson adds, “Thank you so much to the amazing Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Workers in Bruce County. These hard-working individuals and teams have been integral in keeping our region operating through these challenging times by supporting families and industries, nurturing our youngest residents, and making a positive impact on our communities.” .
