The Township of Chatsworth Fire Department successfully completed a two-hour water tanker shuttle accreditation test earlier this month. A media release explained that the test certifies the department’s capabilities in providing water for rural fire fighting.
Fire Chief Mike Givens said the accreditation may mean rural residents with homes, farms and businesses within the Township of Chatsworth Fire Department coverage area may be eligible for a rate reduction on their insurance.
