COVID-19 Vaccination rates climb in Grey Bruce

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is marking a milestone in COVID-19 vaccination rates. In Grey Bruce, 80.5% of eligible residents are fully vaccinated with two doses. 84.5% received one dose.

As well, 3rd doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to all eligible and consenting residents within 26 Long-Term Care and high risk retirement homes in Grey and Bruce. Next up for 3rd doses in Grey Bruce are consenting residents in remaining retirement homes, and consenting residents in high-risk senior congregate settings. And clinics are being planned for those eligible 2nd doses in all Grey Bruce schools.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Heath reports 83.6% of the eligible population has two doses. In Huron Perth, 78.7% of the population is fully vaccinated. 83.7% have one dose.

Over 10.7 million residents across Ontario are fully immunized with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccines. That's 82.4 per cent of the eligible 12-plus population. 87.1 per cent of residents have one dose
