COVID-19 cases rise in Midwestern Ontario

COVID-19 cases continue to rise across Midwestern Ontario. 

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added five new cases of COVID-19 today, two in Saugeen Shores, two in Southgate, and one in Huron Kinloss. There are 21 active cases, but no residents are hospitalized with the virus. There are currently no outbreaks in Grey Bruce

Huron Perth Public Health confirmed 12 new cases of the novel coronavirus Wednesday, four in Perth South, three in West Perth, two in South Huron, and one each in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, Central Huron, Goderich. There are 50 active cases and two residents are hospitalized with the virus.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added no new cases in Wellington County, where there are 25 active cases. Across the public health region, three COVID-19 patients are hospitalized and in the ICU.
