Over a dozen new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario Tuesday

New cases of COVID-19 continue to surface in Midwestern Ontario.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added six new cases of COVID-19 today, five in West Grey and one in Southgate.

There are 18 active cases, but no residents are hospitalized with the virus. There are currently no outbreaks in Grey Bruce

Huron Perth Public Health confirmed five new cases of the novel coronavirus Tuesday, two in North Perth, and one each in Stratford, St. Marys and West Perth. There are 43 active cases and one resident is hospitalized with the virus.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added four new cases in Wellington County, where there are 29 active cases. There are nine active cases in Minto, four in Mapleton and one in Wellington North. Across the public health region, three COVID-19 patients are hospitalized and in the ICU.
