Local health units carry vaccine clinics into mid-September

A number of walk-in vaccine clinics are line up for this week in various communities in Huron and Perth. They are listed below.

Heading into the weekend, Huron Perth Public Health was reporting 32 active cases and an update is expected at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The vaccination rate is 81.1 percent for one dose and 74.8 percent for two doses in the 12 and older population.

No new cases of COVID-19 were added to the count in Grey-Bruce late Sunday. Health officials are currently monitoring 20 active cases.

The vaccination rate in Grey-Bruce for those 12 and older has reached 82.6 percent for one dose and 77.2 percent for two doses.

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public health reported 18 active cases in Wellington County as of Friday with an update expected mid-morning on Monday.

The two dose rate for the 12 and older population has reached 80 percent. The one dose rate is 85.4 percent.

Saturday, September 18 Gray's Auction in Harriston, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There are times available to book at the Harriston Railway Assessment Centre by calling 226-383-2415. That clinic runs Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. And walk-ins will be accepted as of Thursday, September 16 and depend on availability.
