Drug search warrant in North Perth results in charges

Police seized drugs, cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and property during a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence in the Municipality of North Perth.

OPP units from Huron-Perth Community Grey-Bruce , Wellington and, Perth County OPP, and the West Region Emergency Response Team executed the warrant at a residence on Inkerman Street East, Listowel, on July 20, 2021.

As a result of this investigation, police reported they seized cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone pills, psilocybin, LSD, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. The estimated combined street value of the controlled drugs and substances was over $13,000.  Police also seized cash, offence related property consisting of drug trafficking paraphernalia and property, including a motorcycle, with a total value of over $30,000.

OPP said Jason Drager, 49, Lisa Drager, 48, both of Listowel, face several possession charges, as well as possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine.

Both also face charges of:

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Methamphetamine

· Possession of a Schedule III Substance (two counts)

· Possession for the purpose of distributing

Both of the accused persons have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
