More walk-ins welcome at COVID mass vaccination clinics

More walk-in opportunities are available at COVID-19 vaccination clinics over the next few days in Huron and Perth.

There are two clinics today: one in Stratford at the Rotary Complex and one in Exeter at the South Huron Recreation Centre that are offering walk-in vaccines. You must be 18 or older to get a vaccine in Stratford, or 12 or older to get one in Exeter.

There is another clinic Saturday in Goderich at Memorial Arena offering walk-in vaccinations.

Walk-ins will only be accepted while there is enough vaccine. If it's your second dose, be sure it's more than 28 days from your first dose.

Public health officials are reminding people that mRNA vaccines -- Pfizer and Moderna -- can be mixed safely and effectively.
