Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health says nearly 80% of the eligible population have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 45% have two.
Six residents are hospitalized with the virus, three of them in the ICU. There is one workplace outbreak.
There were three new cases in the region Wednesday, one of them in Wellington. There are eight active cases in Minto, nine in Wellington North and one in Mapleton.
There are 23 active cases in Wellington County.
