Wellington County OPP have laid numerous sexual assault charges against three different suspects involved in three separate cases.
Police confirmed that following an investigation into a series of historical sexual assaults over a four year period, a 41-year-old Wellington North resident has been charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Sexual Exploitation. The assaults occurred from January 2017 to April 2021 and the victim knew the suspect.
Officers also charged a 43-year-old from Wellington North with sexual assault and drug charges after a May 11th incident, where the victim also knew the alleged offender.
And a 26-year-old Mount Forest resident is facing numerous sexual assault charges involving multiple victims, all of whom knew the accused. Victims include people under the age of 16.
All three accused have court dates scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on various dates to answer to their respective charges.
