Renos to the washrooms at Teeswater Town Hall are complete

The washrooms at Teeswater Town Hall are all spruced up for when the lockdown ends.

The Municipality of South Bruce says renovations to the washrooms at the town hall are now finished thanks to 55 thousand dollars in Community Well-Being funding.

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization contributes to the Community Well-Being fund and it's administered by the municipality.

“The Town Hall is a landmark in our community and a gathering place for many events and celebrations, so designating Community Well-Being funds to make the project happen was important to our Council,” said Mayor Robert Buckle in a release on Friday.

The renovations to the accessible washrooms further modernize the building that is a cultural and meeting hub for local residents.

“We are thrilled to see the renovations have come to completion, improving this great facility for years to come,” said Shawnette Crouse, Recreation and Facilities Manager for the Municipality of South Bruce. “I look forward to the community getting to see the renovations for themselves and making good use of the Hall again once we can safely reopen and gather again.”
