Collaboration key in vaccine clinic in Huron County

Huron County and its Warden, Glen McNeil, are recognizing the hard work by a number of people and organizations that have made the Mass Vaccination Clinic at the Maitland Recreation Centre in Goderich successful.

Particularly between Huron Perth Public Health and the Town of Goderich.

He says the collaboration could not have worked without the volunteers and the cooperation of the primary health care partners.

“And that collaborative effort is between HPPA, it is hosted by the Town of Goderich and I am totally indebted to them for that. Huron County is involved as far as some staffing," said McNeil.

The Huron County COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic has been running since Phase One of Ontario’s vaccination plan began, and McNeil says the whole purpose of this is just to provide an efficient way for residents to be vaccinated and it did just that.

Vaccination clinics will continue to operate in Huron County so all those who wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccine have the opportunity to do so.

More information on vaccinations including booking appointments is available on the Huron Perth Public Health website.
