Three EarlyON Centres re-opening this month

EarlyON Centres in Mount Forest, Drayton and Erin will re-open on March 22.

They have been closed for in-person programs since March of last year while providing virtual supports.

EarlyON Centres provide programs and support services to any family or caregiver who are caring for children ages birth to six years of age.

Outdoor programs will also be offered to a maximum of 13 participants from no more than 3 households.

“The safety of our community has been our top priority throughout this pandemic as we continue to follow the direction of the Ministry of Education and Public Health,” said Luisa Artuso, Director of the Children’s Early Years Division. “We have been hearing about some families and children experiencing isolation. I am pleased to announce, with Ministry approval, that we will be safely re-opening limited EarlyON locations. We’ll be able to offer in-person indoor visits with an Early Childhood Educator one household at a time.”
