Friday's COVID-19 count up in Midwestern Ontario

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the past 24 hours. One person is in hospital. There are 11 active cases. There have been two resolved cases involving variants of concern.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reported another nine cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Friday. And 18 cases were resolved. There are 125 active cases.  17 of those active cases are in Wellington County, where four new positive cases were added. Three cases were resolved.

While there continues to be recoveries involving COVID-19 across Huron and Perth,  five new cases were confirmed Friday.  One each in Central Huron, South Huron and Stratford. There were two cases confirmed in Huron East. And currently public health is monitoring 22 active cases.
