The Pine River Cheese facility in Bruce County has a new owner.
The Lucknow Co-op announced of the purchase of Pine River Cheese on Facebook this week.
The General Manager says they are looking at many future options, which will be announced soon.
Allan Scott says they are very excited about their recent purchase.
In September 2019, the board of the farmer-owned co-operative made the decision to cease operations.
The Pine River Cheese and Butter Co-operative operated for 134 years near Kincardine, but struggled after fires damaged their facility. 25 employees lost their jobs.
