A local COVID-19 assessment centre is adjusting its hours of operation due to "reduced volumes."
The COVID-19 assessment centre at the Hanover and District Hospital will slightly reduce hours of operation as of Monday, March 1st. The hospital says in a release from February 24th that on top of the "reduced volumes" with less people utilizing the centre, Grey-Bruce Public Health’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout made progress in long-term care and retirement homes and is now starting to get ready for distribution in other sectors in the region. As a result, Hanover and District Hospital will slightly adjust its operating hours at the COVID-19 assessment centre onsite.
The new hours will be 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
