Wellington North mayor urges older residents to sign up for vaccination

Wellington North Mayor Andy Lennox says Wellington residents 80 years of age and over should be signing up for COVID-19 vaccines through the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.

Lennox said there is still not enough vaccine on hand for everybody, but if those over 80 register, they can be contacted with an appointment when supplies arrive.

He suggested friends and family might help the elderly register online. A semi-permanent vaccination clinic is now operating at the Fergus Sportsplex, and pop up clinics will be in Mount Forest and Palmerston
