Multiple new COVID-19 cases reported in Midwestern Ontario Wednesday

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit reported six new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.

Two are in Kincardine, two in Hanover, one in Grey Highlands, and one case in Blue Mountains.

There are 15 active cases as well as two preliminary positive cases that are pending confirmation. There are no hospitalizations or outbreaks.

Huron Perth Public Health reported no new new cases Wednesday, but still has 47 active cases, with the majority of the cases in connection with an ongoing outbreak at Cedarcroft Retirement Home in Stratford.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reported eight new cases Wednesday, for a total of 88 active cases. That included two new cases in Wellington, where there are 21 active cases.
