There is just one active case of COVID-19 being reported by Huron Perth Public Health, down from four active cases on Friday.
However, the list does not include the probable case reported Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Elementary School in Stratford.
The chief medical officer of health for Huron Perth, Dr. Miriam Klassen, said when an individual is not tested, but their physician believes they are infected with COVID-19, that is called a probable case.
It is not included in the confirmed list.
"The school is not in outbreak. There has been no evidence of transmission that has happened in the school setting," Dr. Klassen explained.
She understands a case at school can cause anxiety but she urges everyone to be kind and practice COVID-19 precautions.
"We all need to think about how we can contribute on a personal, family and organizational level, and we need to remain kind to others who are making the best decisions they can based on their circumstances and need," she added.
Contact tracers advised close contacts of the case to self-isolate.
