Grey Bruce Virtual Climate Change Conference opens registration
The Grey Bruce Healthy Communities Partnership will host the 2020 Virtual Climate Change Conference later this month.
It’s a chance for people to learn, collaborate and plan successful climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies in Bruce and Grey counties.
The morning will feature a number of internationally renowned speakers while the afternoon includes nine different sessions on a variety of topics.
People need to register before October 23 for the event which takes place on October 28.
While the global pandemic has challenged us in many ways, it has proven that carbon emissions can be reduced worldwide,” said Jason Weppler, Health Promoter with the Grey Bruce Health Unit. “This conference will highlight how Grey Bruce can return a ‘new normal’ while ensuring climate action is viewed as a top local priority.”
