MPP Bill Walker has been acclaimed as the Progressive Conservative candidate for the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound riding for the next provincial election in 2022.
The acclamation of the third-term MPP followed a virtual candidate selection meeting on Saturday, held by members of the Ontario PC Party riding association for the district.
“I am humbled and honoured to have been selected to represent our party in the next provincial election,” said Walker. “We truly live in the greatest riding in the province and it has been a privilege to represent the great people of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound. We have accomplished a great deal both across the province and right here in Bruce and Grey and I look forward to continuing to work day in and day out to serve the people to the best of my abilities.”
Walker was first elected as MPP in 2011.
