A North Perth man is accused of assaulting two OPP officers, injuring one of them.
Perth County OPP said officers got a call on September 15th around 8:30 a.m. about a person who kicked and damaged a vehicle parked on Main Street East in Listowel. Police arrived and found a suspect nearby.
The suspect was also wanted for mischief in connection to an incident at a home on September 14.
As the suspect was being taken to the Perth County OPP detachment, police allege the accused became combative and one officer suffered minor injuries.
Ryanal Devon, 38, Erb of North Perth is charged with three counts of mischief over $5,000, eight counts of failing to comply with probation, and two counts of assaulting a police officer.
He is in custody pending a bail hearing.
