Swimmer who drowned off Saugeen First Nation identified

Provincial police are now identifying a man who drowned Sunday in Lake Huron off Saugeen First Nation near Sauble Beach.

Witnesses saw the man out from shore, struggling in the waves around 4 p.m., September 13.

The Grey Bruce OPP Marine Unit and the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit recovered the man’s body Tuesday morning.

He is now being identified as 29-year-old Kevin Costin from Wellington North.
