The Upper Grand District School Board has released a new Parent Guide to help parents get ready for the reopening of schools, including those in Wellington County, on September 8.

Families will also see additional school-specific plans released before the first day of class.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a new pre-registration that all parents or guardians in the UGDSB are required to complete so schools can plan for the return of students.

Families can choose to keep their child at home to participate in remote learning if they do not feel comfortable returning to school in person in the fall.

The board has posted information at ugdsb.ca.
