Police called after woman swings golf club at pedestrians in Sauble Beach

Grey Bruce OPP arrested a 28-year-old woman from Ottawa after a disturbance on Main Street in Sauble Beach, Sunday evening.

A female was observed entering a local mini-golf business in Sauble Beach at about 830 pm. She pulled on shrubbery, threw a bucketful of golf balls around, and then took a golf club, and started swinging it at people as she walked toward the beach. With the assistance of by-law officers, police located and arrested the female on the beach area, near Lakeshore Boulevard.

As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 28-year-old from Ottawa, with causing a disturbance and possession of Meth

The accused was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 24, 2020.
