Boater saves man from Owen Sound harbour
A man who fell into the water of the east harbour wall was rescued by a boater in Owen Sound on Wednesday.
The Owen Sound Police Service, along with Grey County Paramedics responded to the distress call within minutes. When emergency crews arrived, they found the man was already being assisted by a boater who was passing by. The man was brought to shore by EMS and taken to Grey Bruce Health Services for medical treatment.
Police would like to thank the witnesses who called 9-1-1, and the boating bystander who acted quickly to save the man’s life.
