Grey County business support

Grey County's Business Enterprise Centre is ready to start a program to help newer businesses re-open.

The Starter Company Plus Recovery Program has grants of up to $2,500 to supports businesses that have been operating between one to five years. The grants are to help cover expenses related to physical changes or business model changes.

"We're seeing so much resiliency in our small business community and we are excited about the opportunities. We want to support our businesses with a program that is fast, flexible and gives people help when and how they need it most," said Courtney Miller, the Business Enterprise Manager.

The SCP Recovery Program will run from August 1 to September 30. Businesses will receive 75 per cent of the awarded funding on August 1, with the balance being awarded upon completion of the program on September 3. Applications will open on July 1.

The application for the program will be posted online at www.madeingrey.ca/business-enterprise-centre on July 1.
