Bruce Power Visitors' Centre closed longer.

The Bruce Power Visitors' Centre will remain closed until at least the first quarter of 2021.

The visitors' centre closed in early March in response to COVID-19, and the company has decided to continue to keep the facility closed, allowing for the opportunity to conduct an extensive renovation project.

The closure affects the centre's staff offices, conference rooms, exhibit hall and theatre. The renovations won't impact the Emergency Management Centre that's located inside the centre.

Director David Abbott says they appreciate the public's patience during this time.

"While we're disappointed the Visitors' Centre won't be open for the very busy summer season, we're excited about updating the facility to better reflect the innovative work being done by our people and exploiting today's technology."
