Huron OPP recovered stolen property taken from the scene of an arson.

A home on Rattenbury Street West in Clinton was set on fire Friday, March 27. Three dogs died in the blaze but the lone occupant escaped.

In mid-April, police said they got a complaint that someone had illegally entered the burned-out home and taken several items.

Police were able to get a tip that led to them getting a warrant to search a location on London Road. That warrant was executed on April 24.

Officers were able to recover a number of items taken from the home.

A 39-year-old Central Huron woman and a 23-year-old man of no fixed address are both facing charges. They are due in court on July 6.
