Bruce Power has launched a new website to promote local businesses in Grey, Bruce and Huron counties.
Central Huron Community Improvement Coordinator Angela Smith said the project provides free promotion for all of the businesses that register as well as a platform that allows them to sell gift cards for their businesses.
Smith said her focus is on Central Huron but the offer is open to any business in the Grey, Bruce, Huron region.
"They are promoting the entire region, all of our small businesses and giving us the opportunity to also sell online, so there is an opportunity to sell gift cards and some of our retailers don't have that ability on their website. Some don't even have websites," said Smith.
Smith said another feature of the website is a section with information about COVID-19. It allows a person to offer help if they're in a position to volunteer and a section that allows people to ask for help if they need something.
