Members of the Huron-Perth and Area Ontario Health Team are looking for possible accommodations in the region for healthcare professionals.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance CEO Andrew Williams said given the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the pressure it could put on local healthcare providers in the future, they're looking for overnight accommodation for out of town workers.
"We put out a request across Huron-Perth to see if there are individuals, businesses, who would have accommodation available for healthcare professionals, should they feel the need to stay locally rather than go back and forth to their homes, should the COVID-19 situation become more of a challenge," said Williams.

"So it really it's us doing some due diligence, making sure that if we need this option, that it's available. We've had incredible community support, but having accommodation for staff to prevent them from having to back and forth between shifts, as an example, we feel is important," added Williams.
