Male faces multiple charges in Huron County

An 18-year-old from South Bruce faces a slew of charges following an incident at a car wash in Clinton.

On March 29th at 9:30am, Huron County OPP responding to investigate a possible stolen pickup truck that was parked inside a car wash bay on Victoria Street.

Upon arrival, officers say one male was outside of the vehicle washing it while another was in the driver's seat.

The suspect outside the vehicle took off running, while the driver of the pickup truck accelerated out of the bay, allegedly ramming a police cruiser and causing extensive damage.

The driver eventually left the scene in the stolen truck.

Officers identified the driver and passenger and obtained search warrants, leading them to a property on Line 34 in Huron East where they arrested the driver without incident.

18-year-old Pacey Feddes of South Bruce faces several charges, including possession of property obtained by crime over $5-thousand dollars, assaulting a police officer with a weapon and flight from a peace officer.

He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for April 6th in Goderich.
