An Ontario Court Justice sentenced a 40-year-old Listowel man to just over five months in jail after he was convicted of sexually assaulting his 16-year-old niece.
The victim was assaulted after she returned to her uncle's house from a local coffee shop, along with her 12-year-old sister, and her cousin.
The court was told the man was very intoxicated and asked for hugs and dances. Then he touched his older niece sexually later that night outside the house.
A publication ban is in place on the identities of those involved.
