Huron County Ontario Provincial Police have ongoing investigations into three suspected substance related overdose deaths that have taken place in Huron County since the end of January 2020.
A 38-year-old from Goderich and a 29-year-old from Exeter died on the weekend of January 25/26th and a 23-year-old from Morris-Turnberry was found dead on February 5, 2020. All three males died in their respective homes.
In each case, investigators are waiting on the results of toxicology tests to help determine the cause of death however they are each being treated as unrelated drug overdose deaths.
Three deaths in a relatively short period of time highlight the fact that the abuse of controlled substances is dangerous and can be deadly.

The OPP supports Canada's Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act that provides protection from charges for individuals at the scene of a drug overdose for simple drug possession.
