Police officers in North Perth have closed their investigation into a report of a suspicious vehicle and driver approaching a student. The report to police indicated a motorist asked a student walking to school Monday morning on Albert Ave. North, if they wanted a ride.
The driver of a green sedan involved has contacted the police and it has been determined through investigation that it was a case of mistaken identity.
Perth County OPP would like to thank those who contacted police.
There is no threat to the public and the investigation into this matter is now closed.
