Jewellery stolen in two Goderich break-ins

Huron OPP officers are looking for suspects after two residential break, enter and thefts targetting jewellery in Goderich.

Both break and enters took place on October 8.

Sometime between 10:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. a suspect broke into a residence located on Suncoast Drive West and stole a gold ring with an emerald stone was stolen along with a pair of rose coloured earrings. The estimated value of the stolen jewellery is about $210.

Also, on October 8, 2019 someone forced entry into a Waterloo Street North residence through a patio door. The thief made off with $10,000. worth of women's jewellery including watches, earrings, bracelets, chains, lockets along with several items of silverware such as sterling teapots and silver spoons.

A witness observed a male person of interest enter this residence around 12 p.m. He was described as being a white male, around 5'10" to 6' tall, approximately 200 to 220 pounds with a "belly", with brownish/blonde hair. He was seen wearing a baseball cap that was white and orange in colour.
