The hosts for this year's Huron County Plowing Match say they really had no idea what to expect but they were excited from the beginning to be part of it.
“We were excited to host a community event and something that's dear to our heart is agriculture," said Howick Township farmer Ray Dykstra. "So it's a celebration of agriculture in many ways, so yeah, we're just kind of stoked right now.”
Dykstra said they were very impressed with the banquet, the set and the work that's gone into the event. He said just seeing the committee that's been involved from long before they got involved and seeing everyone's passion for the match, has been quite inspiring.
