Local LCBO outlets raise money for United Way Perth-Huron

United Way Perth-Huron will benefit the LCBO's Buy Local Give Local Campaign.

17 local stores will be collecting donations toward the local United Way to address issues like poverty, homelessness and mental health.'

Last year, the LCBO raised $66,705 for the campaign.

“UWPH’s work in Huron County positively impacts 8,726 local lives,” says John Clarke, UWPH manager, Community Development Goderich and Huron. “So when LCBO customers say yes at the till, they’re helping United Way work to realize a brighter future in Huron through research, advocacy, consultation and investment.”

“We appreciate the LCBO and their customers choosing to support the 100% local work of UWPH,” added Clarke. “Thanks in part to the Buy Local Give Local campaign more Huron residents can reach their full potential.”

Thanks to United Way and people across the region, over 32,000 of the most vulnerable in Perth and Huron counties have a brighter future.
