Revenew opens Port Elgin office

Another nuclear supplier has opened an office in Bruce County to support the Bruce Power Life-Extension Program.

Revenew cut the ribbon Wednesday at its new office on Goderich Street in Port Elgin.

The company expects 30 people will be headquartered in Port Elgin, while others will work in Toronto to support the Bruce Power’s Major Component Replacement Project.

Revenew currently provides contract administration, risk management and other services to Bruce Power.

"As a small, dedicated professional services provider, Revenew offers a unique perspective over traditional consultants by becoming a value-added member with the customer’s organization," said Jeff Laplante, Revenew’s vice president of Canadian operations.  "The company has years of experience with long-term clients who consider it a valuable partner in their success, and we look forward to working with Bruce Power to ensure its Life-Extension Program remains on time and on budget."

Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s president and CEO, welcomed Revenew to the local nuclear supplier community.

"Revenew is part of the 50-plus nuclear supplier companies that now have a local presence in Bruce, Grey and Huron counties," Rencheck said.  "When our suppliers establish a local presence they quickly integrate themselves into our communities by having a local presence, supporting local initiatives and hiring local people. We welcome Revenew and look forward to growing our relationship."
