Representatives of the Elementary Teachers' Federation will be in Blyth on Thursday to talk about job losses in Huron and Perth.
According to the Avon Maitland - Elementary Teachers' Federation, 34 teaching positions are being cut.
Local President Kent Cleland said a cut in education funding is the direct cause.
ETFO representatives are expected to release more information on the issue Thursday at 2 p.m. in Blyth in front of the constituency office of MPP Lisa Thompson.
The Avon Maitland - Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario represents 650 public school teachers in Huron and Perth.
