The Town of Minto has deferred a decision to next month regarding a proposal from a bus company to use the parking lot at the Harriston-Minto Community Complex.
Cook Bus Lines out of Mount Forest approached the town about parking four buses at the arena during the school year.
Minto would receive $2,000 per year under the proposed agreement.
However, members of council said snow removal at the site could become an issue, as the arena would have to be cleared every morning during the week before 7 a.m. so the buses can safely leave the lot.
Some members of council felt the snow-removal cost would not be covered by the money that would be received.
The issue will be brought back to council in June.
