Phil Main of Classic Rock 94.5 wrapped up the second day of his Run Phil Run campaign in Arthur Tuesday, after running there from Mount Forest in support of mental health awareness.
Main was accompanied by the Wellington Heights Wolverines -- students from the high school in Mount Forest.
"I think I’m one of the few people on the planet who can say he was run out of town by a pack of Wolverines. It felt great, the kids were great, the school is great, and even our day was great, the sun was shining, and you can’t beat that," he said.
The Wellington Heights Wolverines helped Main as he ran for the GetInTouchForHutch organization.
On Wednesday, he will run from Mildmay into Walkerton before ending at Sacred Heart Secondary, all in support of WesForYouthOnline. Main said it was great to partner with GetInTouchForHutch and keep spreading a positive message for local youth.
"It’s the unity it’s created between Myrna Hutchison and GetInTouchForHutch, and WesForYouthOnline, and Lex Talk and Listen, and Tanner Steffler Foundation, I mean all those folks have become friends and made ties," said Main.
Main ran Monday for Lex Talk and Listen, Tuesday for GetInTouchForHutch.
On Wednesday he runs for WesForYouthOnline, Thursday is Tanner Steffler Foundation, and Friday is for Canadian Mental Health Association Grey-Bruce.
