Owen Sound police received a report from a boy who says he was almost bitten by a coyote while riding his bicycle behind the Heritage Place Shopping Centre.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Thursday when a canine breed of animal approached the boy and bit the rear of the bicycle. The boy was not injured nor was he bitten.
The Owen Sound Police have had no reports of coyotes in the city this year. The Ministry of Natural Resources has been contacted by the police service.
