Owen Sound Police Inspector named Deputy Chief in North Bay

Inspector Michael Dazé of the Owen Sound Police Service has been named Deputy Chief of Police by The North Bay Police Service.

Daze has seventeen years of policing experience in Owen Sound having worked in many divisions of policing including Primary Response, Criminal Investigations, Community Service, Drugs and Intelligence.

He also served in supervisory positions with the ranks of Sergeant, Staff Sergeant and is currently the Inspector of Operations

Owen Sound Chief of Police Craig Ambrose says Inspector Dazé is a community-oriented police leader who will be missed by the Owen Sound Police Service, but will bring his knowledge, investigative and operational policing experiences to the North Bay Police Service and to its citizens.
