Residents and visitors can enjoy a refurbished Bayshore Community Boat Launch this summer.
The City of Owen Sound has partnered with the volunteer group Outdoors Adventures to refurbish and repair the docks
Over the next two weeks, Outdoors Adventures will be removing deteriorated sections of the docks and repairing them.
Support for the project is provided through the City’s Capital Budget program approved by Council and the Tom Williams Fund.
The project is aimed at extending the useful life of the facility, so residents and tourists have a safe inviting option to access to the harbour and Georgian Bay.
Outdoor Adventures is comprised of local anglers and hunters.
Boat Launch passes that are valid at the West Boat launch and the Bayshore Community Boat Launch are available at the East boat Launch annually beginning April 1 to October 31.
