An Elora man faces charges after the OPP followed up on reports of a theft at a local business.
Police ended up at a home on Glengarry Cresent in Fergus Tuesday with a search warrant.
Investigators were following up on complaints from a business that thefts took place over an eight-month period and involved a manager stealing bank deposit bags containing cash.
Early estimates put the value of cash stolen at over $300,000 with most of it being recovered by OPP under the warrant.
A 22-year-old man faces charges of theft over $5,000 and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
He is scheduled to appear in court on April 26.
