UPDATE: Fire Marshal investigates blaze at Hensall Legion

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office was called to assist with an investigation after a fire at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch hall in Hensall.

A small fire at the Legion is being called suspicious. Ontario Fire Marshal investigator Dave Emberlin said the fire was limited to a toilet stall.

Damage is mostly smoke related. Huron County OPP officers and the Hensall Fire Department responded to the scene about 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact the OPP.
