St. Marys Memorial Hospital lab closes to walk in patientsMarch 13, 2019 3:30pm
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is implementing temporary laboratory adjustments at all of its sites to help address retirements and recruitment challenges.
Community laboratory services at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Site being closed effective March 18, 2019, until further notice. This closure affects “walk-in patients” — those individuals who are not inpatients or registered to a hospital clinic or the emergency department.
The alliance said the move will help ensure timely and appropriate support to patients in our emergency departments, inpatient units and registered clinics.
