Ambrose is scheduled to become Owen Sound's 16th chief of police at 1:30 p.m.

Guests invited to the Change of Command ceremony include the city's, Mayor Ian Boddy, the chair of the Police Services Board, a representative of the Owen Sound Police Association and the Ontario Chiefs of Police Association. Both the MP and the MPP for the Bruce-Grey Owen Sound riding will also attend.
