Bruce Power has committed $300,000. over the next five years to the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.
POGO has been championing childhood cancer care since 1983, ensuring that all children with cancer in Ontario, their families, and survivors have equitable access to the best care for the best possible outcomes.
The group provides families with financial support to help ease the burden of unexpected out-of-pocket costs, and research contributes to a better understanding of childhood cancer and its impacts. Childhood cancer survivors may endure medical and cognitive challenges into adulthood.

Bruce Power, which produces Cobalt-60 used to treat cancer and sterilizes medical equipment, says this new partnership with POGO fits well into the company’s focus on health and wellness locally, provincially and globally as well as the company’s commitment to do what it can in the fight against cancer.
